Untitled and Upset

We got vets begging
Living in the streets
Can’t get a job to
Get them on their feet

The economy is in a decline
They say we need a little thought
And profit to put the past behind
But they underestimate
The vast majority
Of employable minorities
Because they act like they can’t see

When a child is starving to death
Heart fighting to beat
On and on
‘Till its last breath

“No school, no money, no life”
Keep spouting dreams about
Your picket fence and your
Nice wife

While we
Are filling in the holes
With underpaid mothers
And brothers without souls
That they lost
To corporations
Pre-emptively setting the dates
Of their expirations

Don’t blink cause
You just might miss
A giant, politcally charged white fist
They’re
Shouting propaganda ’bout
The good old days
When the boys fought wars
And stuck to the old ways

If it were up to them I’d be living by a knife
Sacrificing my life
So a man could beat his wife

It may not be fair
But it’s all too true
And don’t ever think
They’d do the same for you
