When the citizens are thirsty from their daily toil
they can’t drink a glass of Venezuelan oil
Forced to vote for guns over butter
millions of children cry but, can’t get fed by their Mother
Thousands of people arrested and sent to jail
in a country that is now a living hell
Between the military’s lifestyle and the average person there is now a large schism
under what they call Socialism
More pages in the book of human history are now bent
and all we have to show for it is another failed experiment
