The Luxury Of Indifference*
Like in Germany back in 1939
everything here in America is not fine
I am hoping as a nation we can endure
but, of this fact I am not 100% sure
We are ruled by a hate monger via fear
with keys to our nukes that fly through earth’s atmosphere
A 72 year old man with the temperament of a spoiled child
that he occasionally hides behind a smile
All over the underground news
are stories of hates crimes, many of them on Jews
We who have a conscience can not sit on the fence
because we no longer have the luxury of indifference
